These terms cover your use of Rex, the Telegram bot and the web terminal. By using Rex you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Rex.
What Rex is
Rex is a tool that trades tokens, moves funds between chains and places orders for you, from wallets that Rex creates and signs for. Rex is not a bank, an exchange or an adviser. Nothing in Rex or in these docs is financial, legal or tax advice.
Who can use it
You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, and the law where you live must let you trade tokens. You are responsible for knowing that. Do not use Rex if a sanctions law or any other law forbids it to you.
Your account and your wallets
Your account is your Telegram account. Anyone who controls it can use Rex as you, and anyone who also has your PIN can withdraw. Keep both safe. You can export the keys of your wallets at any time while Rex is running, and the custody page explains how the keys are held.
Your orders
When you tap a trade, confirm an order or send funds, you tell Rex to act and Rex acts. Trades in Telegram run when you tap. A transaction that has been sent to a chain usually cannot be undone. You are responsible for the amount, the token, the chain and the address you choose.
Limits and safety features
Rex may limit, delay, hold or refuse an action to protect you or the service, for example a spending limit, a one hour wait on a raised limit, a trading lock or an operator pause. These features reduce some risks, and they do not remove them.
Risks you accept
Tokens can fall to zero, be blocked from selling or be built to take your money. Prices move between your tap and the fill. Venues, bridges and chains are other people's systems and can fail. The risks page lists them. You accept these risks when you use Rex.
Costs
Network costs, venue costs and any cost of a route are shown or explained before you act where Rex can know them. The costs page describes what you may pay.
What you must not do
Do not use Rex to break the law, to launder money, to attack or overload the service, to get around a limit or a lock that protects another person, or to take over an account that is not yours. Rex may close or restrict an account that does.
Availability
Rex is provided as it is. It can be slow, stop or change without notice, and orders do not run while it is down. Keys you have exported keep working without Rex.
Our liability
To the most the law allows, Rex and its operators are not liable for trading losses, for the failure of a chain, venue, bridge or other outside service, for lost access to your Telegram account, or for indirect losses. Nothing here limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes
Rex may update these terms. The date at the bottom of the page shows when the docs were last checked. Using Rex after a change means you accept it.
