Open a token
Paste its address or contract id. On the web you can also search by name or symbol. An address that exists on more than one chain is looked up on each. If more than one has it, the bot lists one "Open on" button per chain, and the web opens the one on the chain you are viewing. Check the chain name on the token card before you buy. The card shows the price, market cap, liquidity, holders and safety checks. In Telegram the compact card shows the key figures and the rest sits under More.
Buy
On the web:
- Pick an amount. The quick buttons follow your buy sizes in Settings, which start at $1, $5, $10 and $25. If you switch the amount to dollars the buttons change to $10, $25, $100 and $250. You can also type your own in dollars or in the coin you pay with.
- Read the review: Minimum received, Route, Slippage, Pool fee, any buy or sell tax and the price impact.
- Confirm. If the token is graded as dangerous, tick the box first.
In the bot: a quick button or a typed amount buys straight away, with no review screen. Type a plain number to spend that much of your coin, or put a dollar sign first, like $50, to spend dollars. A token graded dangerous that may not be sellable shows its warnings first, with a Buy anyway button.
On the web, under the amount the ticket shows what you can spend: your balance less what is kept for the network fee. If you ask for more than you hold, it says how much you are short and offers Add funds. If you ask for more than you can use after fees, it says the most you can use. If a buy would go over your own or Rex's limit for one trade, it says so before you confirm.
Sell
Pick 25%, 50%, 75% or all of your holding, or type an amount. On the web a typed amount is a number of tokens. In the bot a typed number is a percent, like 25, and a dollar sign first, like $50, sells that dollar value. In the bot, tapping a percentage sells at once with no review screen. On the web you review first. The web portfolio also has 50% and All buttons on each row, which open the sell with that share filled in for you to review. The sell tax is shown when a token has one. If no route to sell was found, the web token page says so before you buy.
Check before you buy
The web token page tiles show the top 10 holders' share, the dev's share, early snipers and bundled buys, whether it can be sold back, and whether its contract can change or freeze holders. Three more tiles appear where Rex can read them: Insiders (supply held by top holders that one source funded), Fresh (supply in wallets under a week old) and LP locked (liquidity that is locked or burned, on the EVM chains). The glossary explains each. A tile reads "Not known" when the data does not say, and the dev, sniper and bundle figures are mostly available on NEAR. None of it proves a token is safe.
If other tokens share the same symbol and have at least $1,000 of liquidity, the token page lists up to six of them under "Other tokens named", with their addresses, and marks the one with the most liquidity. If this token has the most liquidity, the panel says so. A copy with very little liquidity is not listed, so an empty list does not prove a token is the real one.
Signals
The web Signals page lists single buys on NEAR as they land, newest first, from the trades Rex indexes. Each row shows the size, the buyer, how old the token is and a button to buy a set amount. Marks say Smart wallet (the buyer ranks on the smart board), Fast (bought within 10 minutes of launch) and a buyer count when three or more wallets bought the same token in 10 minutes. A mark appears only when Rex knows the fact behind it.
If it fails
A failed trade says what happened and what to do. The common ones are in Frequent cases.
