Glossary

The words Rex uses, in plain language.

Slippage
How far the price may move against you between the quote and the trade. Past your limit, the trade is cancelled and your funds come back.
Minimum received
The least you will accept for a trade. If the pool would pay less, nothing happens.
Price impact
How much your own trade moves the price, because of the size of the pool.
Pool fee
What the trading pool charges liquidity providers. It is already in the quote.
Token tax
A percentage some tokens take on every buy or sell, set by the token's own contract.
Network fee (gas)
What the chain charges to process a transaction. You pay it in the chain's own coin.
Route
The path a trade takes through one or more pools or venues, sent as one transaction.
Venue
A place where trades run: a decentralized exchange, an aggregator, or a launchpad curve.
Take profit and stop loss
Orders that sell when the price rises to your target, or falls to your limit.
Trailing stop
A stop loss that follows the price up and sells if it falls by a set share from its high.
DCA
Dollar cost averaging: the same buy repeated on a schedule.
Exit plan
Take profit and stop loss levels attached to a buy, armed once it fills.
Snipe
A buy armed ahead of time that fires when a token's pool opens.
Sellable
Whether a route to sell the token back was found. A token that cannot be sold back is often called a honeypot.
Insiders
The share of supply held by top holders that one source funded. Wallets with the same funder may be one person. Shown where Rex can read who funded each wallet.
Fresh
The share of top holders' supply sitting in wallets less than a week old. A high number can mean a team splitting its stack across new wallets. Shown on NEAR.
LP locked
The share of a token's liquidity that is locked or burned, so the pool cannot be pulled. Shown on the EVM chains where an outside source reports it. A low number means the pool owner may be able to remove liquidity.
Bundlers and snipers
Bundlers are wallets that bought in the same block as the launch. Snipers are wallets that bought in the first 30 seconds. Both are shown where Rex can read the launch, mainly on NEAR.
PIN
The 6 digit code you set with /pin. It protects withdrawals and key export.
Freeze
A 24 hour lock started by tapping Not me, freeze my wallet. It clears your PIN, blocks a new PIN, withdrawals and exports for 24 hours, and signs out every web login.
Bridge
Moving money from one chain to another through a bridge provider.
