You need Telegram, and a little of a coin to trade with. Everything else Rex sets up for you.
1. Open the bot
Open @RexAssBot and send /start. Rex creates your wallets and shows the home screen with the address of the chain you are on and your balances. Pick the chain you want to trade on; your other wallets stay as they are. Your NEAR account is created the first time you open NEAR.
2. Add funds
Open /deposit (or the Deposit button), pick the chain, and send the chain's own coin or its stable coin to the address shown. It should appear within seconds. To bring money from another chain, use the Bridge. Full steps are in Add funds.
Only send on the network the screen names. A deposit sent on the wrong network can be lost. On NEAR, keep about 0.25 NEAR free for network fees; most of it comes back.
3. Set a PIN
Send /pin and choose a 6 digit PIN. You need it to withdraw, to bridge out and to export keys. Set it right away: until a PIN exists, anyone who can use your Telegram account could set one. See Security.
4. Make a first trade
In Telegram: paste a token address. Rex opens a card with the price, market cap or fully diluted value, liquidity and safety checks. Tap a buy amount, or type your own. The buy runs as soon as you tap, so check the amount first. The result replaces the message when it settles, usually within seconds, and you do not need to tap again.
On the web: search or paste, type an amount, and review the quote. It shows the minimum you receive, the route, the slippage and the price impact. Nothing is sent until you confirm there.
Your default slippage is 3%. You can change it in Settings. Trade execution explains what slippage does.
5. Protect the trade
From the token page you can add take profit and stop loss, or turn on an exit plan that sells in steps once a buy fills. See Orders.
On the web
Open the terminal and log in with the link the bot sends. A login link works once and expires after 3 minutes. See Security for how web sessions work.
