Find the words on your screen below. Each case says what happened, what to do, and where your funds are.
"The price moved before the trade landed" or "The price moved past your slippage setting"
- What happened
- The price moved past your slippage. Either Rex stopped the trade before sending it, or the pool refused it and returned your funds.
- What to do
- Try again. In the bot you can tap the retry at a wider slippage, and your own setting stays. On the web, raise your slippage in Security.
- Your funds
- Back in your wallet. The pool returned them, and a network fee can still be charged for the attempt on some chains.
"Not enough ... for the network fee" or "does not have enough NEAR left for the network fee"
- What happened
- The wallet does not have enough of the chain's coin left to pay the fee.
- What to do
- Add a little of the chain's coin. On NEAR, keep about 0.25 NEAR free; most of it comes back.
- Your funds
- Nothing moved.
"Rex cannot trade this token yet" or "no buyers"
- What happened
- None of the markets Rex uses has a route for it. A token fresh from a launchpad may trade only on its launch curve, and a thin pool may have no buyers right now.
- What to do
- Try again later, or try a smaller amount.
- Your funds
- Nothing was bought or sold.
"Not confirmed yet"
- What happened
- The trade was sent and the chain has not answered yet.
- What to do
- Wait. You get a message when it settles, usually within a minute. Do not repeat the same trade. A different amount goes through right away.
- Your funds
- They may or may not have moved. Check the wallet and the explorer before trying again.
"over the per trade limit" or "over the daily limit"
- What happened
- The buy is larger than your limit, or it would take the last 24 hours of buying past it. The message gives the limit, and for the daily one how much you can still buy.
- What to do
- Buy a smaller amount, or wait. The daily limit counts the last 24 hours, not a calendar day. See Limits.
- Your funds
- Nothing moved.
An order shows "Needs attention" (web) or is "switched off" (bot)
- What happened
- The order could not run and was switched off. On the web it shows under Needs attention with the reason. In the bot you get a message with the reason.
- What to do
- Fix the cause, such as adding fee money or waiting for a market, then place the order again. In the bot,
/triggerslists your orders. - Your funds
- The order sold or bought nothing by itself.
"Window closed" on a bridge deposit
- What happened
- No deposit reached the address within 15 minutes.
- What to do
- Do not send to that address. Start a new bridge.
- Your funds
- If you already sent, anything that reached the address late goes back to the wallet you named. If nothing is back within a day, send the deposit address in Support.
A deposit does not show
- What happened
- It may still be confirming, or it was sent on a different network.
- What to do
- Check the transaction on an explorer: network, address, confirmed. Wait a minute and open
/wallet. - Your funds
- On the chain, at the address you sent to. Send the transaction link to Support if it is still missing.
"Trading is locked" or "buying is paused"
- What happened
- Either you locked trading, or the team paused new buys while something is fixed.
- What to do
- If you locked it, unlock it in the Withdrawal PIN menu with your PIN. If buying is paused, wait and try again soon.
- Your funds
- Safe. Selling and withdrawing still work.
PIN locked
- What happened
- Too many wrong tries.
- What to do
- Wait out the lock, or reset the PIN, which takes 24 hours. If a reset was not you, enter your PIN in Wallet, Withdrawal PIN to cancel it. If someone else set a PIN, or you see a send you did not make, tap Not me, freeze my wallet in the alert.
- Your funds
- Safe. A lock stops withdrawing, bridging out and exporting. Your balance is untouched and you can still sell.
"Your session ended" (web)
- What happened
- The web login expired, or was ended from the bot, by a freeze or by Log out everywhere.
- What to do
- Log in again from the link the bot sends.
- Your funds
- Untouched.
